VERDICCHIO DEI CASTELLI DI JESI DOC
Wine made with grown grapes on hillside vineyards facing optimal sun exposure. The yield of grapes is adapted to the potential of the variety and seasonal trends.
Straw yellow with greenish highlights, the nose gives off hints of white berries and flowers that vary depending on the vintage. The palate is dry, rich and warm, with bitter almond aftertaste typical of the Verdicchio.
Grape: 100% Verdicchio
Type of cultivation: vertical trellis
Yield: about 2.5 tons/acre
Winemaking: the harvest is done by hand and the grapes are immediately soft pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless stell at controlled temperature of 18/20°C
Aging: in stainless steel for 8 months followed by at least 2 months in bottle
Enjoy with pasta with red tomato sauce. Pairs well with white meat and excellent with all sort of seafood.
