VERDICCHIO DEI CASTELLI DI JESI DOC
Wine made from late-harvest and dried Verdicchio grapes.
Straw yellow color with golden hues, the nose gives scents of marmelade, honey and spices. The taste is mellow, warm, well-rounded, with an aftertaste of halzelnuts and walnuts
Grape: 100% Verdicchio
Type of cultivation: vertical trellis
Vine density: 2,200 vines per hectare
Vinification: after a careful selection, grapes are left to dry on trellises and in small cases. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 18/20 °C, first inside stainless steel tanks and then in tonneaux for 12/18 months.
Aging: in stainless steel for 6 months followed by 12/18 months in tonneaux, resting in bottle for at least 6 months.
Enjoy with first course such as tagliatelle with truffle, various types of cheese such as gorgonzola, sheep's milk and parmigiano. Excellent with patè de foie gras.
